“But I can hardly sit still. I keep fidgeting, crosssing one leg and then the other. I feel like I could throw off sparks, or break a window – – maybe rearrange the furniture.”
This quote made me laugh with nervous and ironic relation when I read it.
After anxiety woke me up this morning (read about it here) – I lay in bed for about 30 minutes trying with everything I could muster to regain control of my thoughts and to relax my body, but I couldn’t. I knew the only way to stop the noise was to get up and refocus my self actively – so I came here to my blog and wrote.
So far it has worked to calm my thoughts and thus my anxiety.
When I read this quote – wow did it resonate. It spoke to my soul; to the very truth of the overstimulation I felt laying there, awaken by intrusive and unproductive thinking.

For me anxiety hones in on my chest and my gut.
I definitely understand the racing heart, heavy chest, and the nausea that anxiety can bring.
Shallow breathing, racing mind, weight on chest, knot in stomach.
Superb blog! Do you have any tips and hints for
aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own site soon but
I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with
a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options
out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any tips?
Kudos! http://www.google.de
