Today it one of those days where,
it is taking everything I have to stay productive.
Turns out my process is exhausting.
I can’t wait for the day this mental and emotional fatigue
stops.
Does it ever?
I have been sitting here
pondering thoughts about healing.
The Does it ever get better? Does it ever get easier?
conversation in my head where
I have to give myself pep talk after pep talk
just to get off the damn couch!
so I sat down to my blog
with the impromptu intention of looking at some of my analytics.
Not something I normally do,
but it came up in a conversation today,
and it is something that is recommended on the business side of websites.
When I say analytics, I don’t mean the daily insights.
I pay attention to my site traffic.
No, today I looked into the google keyword
searches to see what is actually bringing people here to read my story.
What I read breaks my heart
and simultaneously feels like a hug
of understanding.
The following were the keywords that showed up the most when people searched and visited my site:
- Positive Affirmations
- Affirmations
- Healing Affirmations
- Childhood Trauma
- Trauma
- Healing
- Cptsd
- PTSD
- Recovery
- Lost Soul
- Trauma Survivor
- Childhood Sexual Abuse
These are the keyword searches that happen when our minds weigh us down and we are looking for some sort of sign, or message, that there is hope through this madness.
In our darkest moments, we are all searching for the same thing.
I find comfort in that.
Well, I am here to tell you that
there is hope,
and happiness to be found after childhood trauma.
I’ve been here before,
and I have been on the other side of it.
You will get there too.
The hardest work is always the most rewarding,
especially when it involves
personal growth,
reflection,
and Self-Love.
Which all leads to healing.
