Survivors Speak LIVE – Colleen’s Story

Read the stories of Childhood Trauma Survivors in their own words as they share their pain, their resilience, and their hope.

This week on Survivors Speak LIVE I was joined by Colleen who shared her journey of healing as an adult child of an alcoholic.

She spoke of the chaos in her childhood home and how losing her mother to the disease became the catalyst to begin healing her childhood wounds. Together we talk about living with Complex PTSD as adults and touch on things like the struggle to control emotions, the difficulty of reparenting ourselves, and Colleen shares her journey of forgiveness and acceptance.

Please bear witness and watch her share her story below.
